Float Therapy FAQ's

Q: How clean are the float tanks?

Our tanks are filtered and sanitized after every session using a multi-step filtration system, UV light, and medical-grade disinfectants. The high concentration of Epsom salt also naturally inhibits bacteria growth. We take cleanliness very seriously to ensure every client has a safe, pristine experience. Testing is done multiple times a day to ensure top water safety.


Q: What do I do after my float?

We provide a private shower for you to rinse off, plus towels and aftercare essentials. Take a few minutes in our calm post-float space to rehydrate, stretch, and enjoy the lingering sense of relaxation. Many clients prefer to book their float before bed for the best sleep of their lives!


Q: Are there reasons I cannot float?

Hair dye - We recommend waiting at least 7 days after hair colouring to avoid staining the tank water or fading your colour. Menstruation is not recommended so the integrity of the water is maintained. Any open wounds that cannot be covered with waterproofing is not recommended, the salt concentration will cause a burning sensation.


Q: Will the salt dry out my skin or hair?

Actually, Epsom salt leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and your hair soft. We provide conditioner and lotion if you’d like to use them after your session.


Q: Can I float while pregnant?

Many expectant mothers find floating relieves back pain and swelling. Always check with your doctor first.


Q: Can two people float together?

Our tanks are designed for a single floater to ensure the best relaxation experience. We encourage couples to book back-to-back, one can have a Massage Therapy session while the other floats.


Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?

Nope! We provide towels, body wash, earplugs, and all amenities. Just come ready to relax.


Q: How often should I float?

The benefits of floating build over time. Many clients float once a week for stress relief or once a month for maintenance.
